Are you implying that we actually get away fro Ikariam for more then 5 minutes at a time? That we waste time sleeping and working? Are you nuts?
That better not be about me because I didn't suggest that.

And Maillig, you shouldn't be correcting Ming on his spelling seeing as you continually use "than" when the correct word is "then"

I don't know how he's wrong. Just throwing it out there to get people who haven't answered off track.
Is there anybody who hasn't answered, if we're ready to finish this question we can do it now.

Re: The give away
Okay, so the answer is 70, so congrats to those who got it right. Maillig and Amp, you will have to guess the number I'm thinking of.
My next prize is for two questions you will have to get them both right.
worth 10k marble and 10k wood.
1. If you take 2 apples from three, how many do you have.
2. How many species of animals did moses take into the ark?
Please, no more side comments or else you will give the answers away. Also no explanations of why it is correct.

If one nickel is worth 5 cents then the cork costs 2,5 cents!

Bottle = B
Cork = C
b + c = $ 1.05
b = c + $ 1.00
b - c = $ 1.00
***************
b - c = $ 1.00
b + c = $ 1.05
============
2b = 2.05
b = 1.025
***************
C = b - $ 1
c = 1.025 - 1
Therfore cork = $0.025

Hehe, nice thinking! I thought a little bit different:
Cork=x
Bottle=x+1
x+x+1=1,05$
2x=0,05$
x=0,025$

Wow, I just realized this...Arthur is using commas instead of periods in his numbers. Every single time I see the commas it kept throwing me off...
Anyway same answer as the 2 before. The cork costs $0.025

What's wrong with that? I'm just used to write so IRL and it seems more logical to me as commas from a grammar point of view separate something similar and periods tend to stop and finish thoughts.
Is it something regional? Like e.g. another way students are being educated in schools, because as far as I remember myself in school decimal numbers were always written with commas.

Re: The give away
In the United States, and probably all of North America, we use commas to separate numbers by thousands and we use periods (aka decimal points) in our decimals
i.e. 1,000,000= 1 million
3.14159...= pi
I just think it makes more sense this way. Even from what you said about commas and periods; the commas separate thousands places from each other, but they are all similar parts of one number where the decimal point breaks a number into a whole part and a fraction of a whole which are much less similar than thousands places.
