Charity: Donate to the Mills and Mines!

It's important to remember to donate to your mills and mines. Lots of alliances have rules regarding donations and I need you all to know that you need to donate. Donating to the mills, mines, and miracles on your islands will improve the island as a whole. Even though it uses up resources, donating makes you able to obtain more because you can collect more from a larger mine. And the miracles have really helpful effects.

Donating also makes your neighbors friendlier. People like neighbors who contribute to the success of the entire island. And in some situations, this can keep you from getting attacked. Bullies don't just target those who stockpile goods, they also hit those who "leech." Leechers don't donate their share. People who leech aren't well liked, will be attacked, and won't be defended by their island mates. I know that it's hard to part with your resources, but it's a good idea to donate whatever's left when you finish an upgrade.

Every XIP member should take note of Amp's comments. Too many of our members have donated very little or nothing to the mines on some islands. This is really annoying other players and getting the Alliance a bad name. If we get a reputation for being leeches, every Alliance on the server will attack us all and we will lose the support of the friends we have.

I suggest donating at least 1 hours production to each mine every day. It is not an excuse to claim that you don't use the mines because you only pillage. This is an unrealistic claim because you will always need to mine something, no matter how much you pillage.
