Control of the Universe

Wow...

My galactic senate still exists even within your own Quorum. With a senate keeping the checks and balances I could never be a dictator. Besides, authoritarian tendencies are totally not me. In fact, I shun leadership roles in real life, so me being Chancellor is quite a stretch.

Your consciousness was corrupted due to improper storage and with increasing frequency your new body glitches and does unexpected things. The public takes this as a sign of mental instability and you are deposed and a new leader is elected. Luckily, this leader is a puppet of mine and does what I want.

Using my Temporal Destabilizer (yeah, that sounds good) I restore Ming and I to health and my puppet arrests and executes all of your guards for treason so we are set free.

Everyone finds out he's a puppet and than they overthrow him. Than someone creates a doomsday device and he says you told him to. I stop the end of the Universe by shooting him in the eye and heart and everyone worships me like a god and everyone shuns you.

Except no one believes what he says because everyone is aware of the fact that I have restored lost worlds and dying species. Why would someone like that want to create a doomsday device?

No one worships you like a god, you are simply one person who killed another person. Nothing special about that...

Meh, everyone goes into rebellion and corruption goes up throughout the Universe

The Federation falls apart and the Universe falls back into an "every planet for itself" situation with minor alliances forming between certain planets. One such alliance, the United Planet Federation (UPF) encompasses 36 planets spread across the Milky Way. And, I am one of the council members.

"One counsel member" The rest vote to make a speaker of the house who has 35 votes, and that speaker is me I vote to destroy every planet that is not in the counsel after we take all the populations and put them on random moons throughout the Universe.

Unfortunately that was all a dream and so all you did was sleep the entire time while me and amp started to rule the universe while we drugged you every time you wake up into a man made dream so you think you rule the universe, but in reality we do.

But than it turns out you're also inside a dream and I'm in a dream inside a dream and everyone in the Universe is sleeping I knock myself awake inception style and slowly take control of the Universe while you take your siesta

Thanks to my insomnia, I didn't fall asleep. I gather together a rather small but powerful group of civilizations to oppose your control of the universe.

actually on maillig's comment... it turns out the drug we used on you kept you asleep and that when you kill yourself in the dream, you go into limbo (if you watched inception you'd know what I mean.)

I than fall backwards, three times...I wake up and find the Universe in ruins because you've decided to put in a democracy. I step in and put in a republic as me as the first leader. The terms of office are from election to death. I am now in control of the universe.

We never put in a democracy. Anyway, my group of planets refuses to ratify your Republic's constitution, mostly because I told them it was trouble, but also because it seems to them to be more of an Empire, or Constitutional Monarchy. This distrust spreads to other planets who promptly refuse to ratify or (if they've ratified already) leave the Republic.

Than civil war breaks out cause no one is joined together. During all of this a depression comes about. I use this to my advantage taking the most powerful nations and bringing them together to crush all the other nations and bring the Universe under my control.

Can't be civil war unless its the same planet...

Unfortunately for you, by conquering the planets with suffering economies, the larger planetary empires you have "recruited" now carry immense burdens in trying to recover the failing economies (kinda like the EU trying to help Greece, Spain, Portugal and Ireland). The depression spreads across the Universe and you will forever go down in history as the leader who put the whole Universe in a horrible economic mess.

Ahh, but like Greenspan said "we can always print more money" I follow his words and do this without causing inflation and use Reaganomics to bring back the economy. I am now put down in history as the greatest ruler ever and all who oppose my rule go against peace, law, and order.

How can you print more money without inflation? And what on Earth is Reaganomics?

Moving beyond that, your reign(s) is(are) better defined as genocide, repression, depression, and oppression. You go down in history as the person that destroyed entire planets and people, repressed the population to secure your office, hurled the Universe into a depression, and oppressed trillions across the Universe. Also, you are named the worst flip-flopper of all time; constantly flipping and flopping from destroying the Universe to saving it just to stay in office.

Every problem you've fixed has been of your own design and it comes off as manipulative and untrustworthy.
