-R- and XIP Relations
Hello everyone,
I know it's been a while since I've posted so I thought that I should give you guys an update.
My position as liaison seems to be only one way as -R- seems to not be that good at responding to my emails regarding this matter. Unless they say against it I will remain as a personal diplomat regarding minor matters, such as co-ops or trade.
This leads me into my next topic of the Viets. All of us know they have been a pain, but few of us can do anything about it. I believe that I can lead a small number of -R- players to do a group attack on the Viets, if we can work together. I have also considered Black, but not having any authority I am not able to do so at this time.
I would like for the administration of XIP to send me a letter in which they will accept or deny a co-op on the Viet alliances (e.g. FVN,VIE,VNS...etc.)
On the topic of trade I will attempt to post offers, but will have further details on this matter as I talk to my own administration.
If any individual players have any problems with -R- members individually let me know through an in-game message (Username: Maillig)
If you have any questions/comments please post here or message me, but I should let you know I do not check as often as I used to.
Thank you and good day,
Maillig

Re: -R- and XIP Relations
Hi Mailig,
The problems with the Viet's seem to be limited to a few players. We have plans to sort those players out and Ming is organising the attacks. Part of the plan will involve a number of us hitting a different town of that player simultaneously. If we don't have enough to hit every town then your assistance would be appreciated.
I will leave it to Ming to let you know if we need help.
Attacks on our island have been met with a tremendous team effort. Even where we have had differences with some players on that island, they have responded with a togetherness which was pleasing. This has probably led to more respect for each other in the game and stopped our local disagreements.

It's almost like the war between the Greeks and the Persians; the Greeks fight amongst themselves, but when a foreign enemy (the Persians) invade, they band together and fight!

We aren't as sure about attacking specific players. We just got attacked yesterday by viets from different alliances. We had a bit of naval issues, but once I landed my troops things started to be a bit better...it seems that the players backed off a bit after my troops arrived. Word spreads pretty quick I guess.

Has -R- partaken in any of the recent battle activity?

One problem with the Viets is they are stubborn and sore losers. After the epic battle we continue to see retrobution. It hasnt slowed them down but in fact seems to have escalated it. It also seems to be the ones that were in the battle, THose Viets that stayed out do not seem to be attacking.

I feel like the Viets are trying to assert dominance over this part of the world. It's a lot of posturing if you ask me.
